| Anatomy
of a Day Trip
 |
Our
day charter leaves around 10 a.m. and will return around
5 p.m. We sail to the local islands of Palominos, Icacos,
Lobos, or Palominitos, anchor, snorkel, swim, walk on
the beach, and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch, snacks,
and drinks. After lunch we move to a second snorkeling
site for more fun. We are equipped with snorkel gear
for children and adults. |
| |
|
 |
We
won't decide on a destination until that morning, when
we can consider what would be the best island for the
day. Captain Bill and his wife, Ingrid, frequently snorkel
with the group, providing a guided tour with fish and
coral identification. They love to get someone who is
a bit afraid to relax and enjoy this spectacular experience,
and as such, is great for first time snorkelers! Erin
Go Bragh has a permanent bimini for shade, and a large
awning, if required, for additional shade at anchor.

Sailing's
a way of life for Capt. Bill & Ingrid. For them,
there's nothing better than setting sail for a beautiful,
uninhabited island w/only the sounds of tropical breezes,
waves, & good conversation along for the ride. If
you wish, they have a 12-disc CD player & an eclectic
mix of music to which you can add your own choice of
music as well. Find your "comfort zone" on
the deck and relax with complimentary snacks, including
our fresh, homemade tropical salsa, cool drinks &
open bar. You'll
also have the opportunity to take the helm & show
off your sailing talents, or get hands-on instruction
from Capt. Bill & crew. It's all up to you! |

A
view of Erin Go Bragh sailing off the eastern coast
under the majesty of El Yunque. Located only minutes
from our home port, Puerto Del Rey Marina, El Yunque
is the only tropical rainforest on U.S. soil. Along
with a trip on the Erin Go Bragh, it is a must-see for
any Puerto Rico vacation. |

 |
Lunch
is one of the best parts of a day trip on Erin Go Bragh.
Enjoy Captain Bill and Ingrid's "world-famous"
complete BBQ lunch. Don't forget to let us know ahead
of time if you are a vegetarian, have food allergies,
or keep Kosher.

 |
The
fish also enjoy lunch from Erin Go Bragh. We keep the
leftover bread and take it along snorkeling after lunch.
You won't believe how friendly little fish are when
you have some bread! They eat right out of your hand.

We
have hosted multiple weddings aboard the Erin Go Bragh.
To the left is a picture from one of them. In addition,
Captain Bill and Ingrid celebrated their life commitment
wedding aboard Erin Go Bragh. |

|
 |
Our
sunset dinner cruises leave the docks in the afternoon
and return after dark. (We are flexible with our departure
and return times to meet your needs.) These sailing
trips include appetizers, a full-course meal cooked
on board, wine and dessert. Watching a full-moon rise
over the water is most romantic aboard the Erin
Go Bragh III. There is a four-passenger minimum
on these trips |
