Day Trips

Our day charter leaves around 10 AM and will return around 5 PM. We sail to the local islands of Palominos, Icacos, Lobos, or Palominitos, anchor, snorkel, swim, walk on the beach, and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch, snacks, and drinks. After lunch we move to a second snorkeling site for more fun.

We are equipped with snorkel gear for children and adults, two fishing poles for trolling, and two poles for casting.

We won't decide on a destination until that morning, when we can consider what would be the best island for the day. Captain Bill and his wife, Ingrid frequently snorkel with the group, providing a guided tour with fish and coral identification. They love to get someone who is a bit afraid to relax and enjoy this spectacular experience, and as such, is great for first time snorkelers! Erin Go Bragh has a permanent bimini for a shade underway, and a large awning, if required, for additional shade at anchor.

Sailing is a way of life for Captain Bill and Ingrid. For them, there's nothing better than setting sail for a beautiful uninhabited island with only the sounds of tropical breezes, waves, and good conversation along for the ride. Should you desire, they have a 12-disc CD player and an eclectic mix of music to which you can add your own choice of music as well.

Find your "comfort zone" on the deck and relax with complimentary snacks, including our fresh, homemade tropical salsa, cool drinks and open bar.

You will also have the opportunity to take the helm and show off your sailing talents, or get hands-on instruction from Captain Bill and crew. It's all up to you!

A view of Erin Go Bragh sailing off the eastern coast under the majesty of El Yunque. Located only minutes from our home port, Puerto Del Rey Marina, El Yunque is the only tropical rainforest on U.S. soil. Along with a trip on the Erin Go Bragh, it is a must-see for any Puerto Rico vacation.

Lunch is one of the best parts of a day trip on Erin Go Bragh. Enjoy Captain Bill and Ingrid's "world-famous" complete BBQ lunch. Don't forget to let us know ahead of time if you are a vegetarian, have food allergies, or keep Kosher.

The fish also enjoy lunch from Erin Go Bragh. We keep the leftover bread and take it along snorkeling after lunch. You won't believe how friendly little fish are when you have some bread! They eat right out of your hand.

Please contact Erin Go Bragh for more information and prices on their day sails.

We have hosted multiple weddings aboard the Erin Go Bragh. This is a picture from one of them. Recently, Captain Bill and Ingrid celebrated their life commitment aboard Erin Go Bragh. For more information on celebrating your marriage on board, please contact us!

Sunset cruises leave the docks in the late afternoon and return after dark (this is a two to three hour trip) so that you can enjoy an evening of sailing, snacks and drinks underneath a breathtaking Puerto Rico sunset. There is a four passenger minimum on these trips. Please contact Erin Go Bragh for more information on their sunset cruises.

Overnight Charter

The overnight charters will leave at 10 AM and return at 5 PM the next day, although departure and arrival times can be flexible to meet your needs. We can sail to the island of Culebra boasting the world-class beach, "Flamenco Bay", shore-side sightseeing and shopping, or to Culebrita, another incredibly beautiful nearby island with a gorgeous white sandy beach and fish nursery amongst the tide pools formed within the surrounding volcanic rocks.

Another popular overnight trip involves sailing to the island of Vieques for daytime snorkeling and a nighttime visit to the spectacular bioluminescent bay. The glowing water in this bay is a lifetime experience not to be missed! The quaint town of Esperanza, on Vieques, offers unique shopping stores featuring local, talented artisans. As always, the days can include sailing, snorkeling, swimming, (leave out windsurfing) and fishing. The price includes accommodations on Erin Go Bragh, all meals, snacks, and drinks, including open bar.

A Beauty. Fresh fish for dinner to be prepared by Chef Bill.

Term Charter

You can build a term charter of any length by adding a 24 hour day (from 5 in the evening until 5 the next day) on to our overnight trip. This type of trip makes it possible to go to both Culebra and Vieques, and/or the US or British Virgin Islands. Please contact Erin Go Bragh for more information on their term charter sails.
